Crimsonology

Went to check out the Temasek Polytechnic open house with a few friends yesterday and i think i have a pretty clear idea of where i wanna go. The booths and presentations were very informative and we even had two superb guides! For rememberance sake i'll tell you their names.(Pamela and Fiza) Managed to get my design portfolio rated by some visual com people and find out more about what they do there as well and its really impressive stuff. Design is definitely among my top choices, next to mass communications. With some luck, and god's grace i pray that my L1R4 will be below 13 points...

Also, i went to see Levenfall (Punk Band) at their esplanade gig and they were quite good. The cover of Bad Religion's " American Jesus " was decent and their originals sounded nice as well.
Authentic Punk's not dead and it never will be....

Life's been pretty fulfilling since the end of the O levels. Finally got back to doing something for the church by going back to the youth ministry. They're helping to plan a church gig i proposed too. It's going to be an attempt to raise rock awareness within the church and proceeds will go to the church fund and an orphanage. The Gig features Contemporary Rock, Mainstream Metal, Punk Rock, Emo Core and some alternative stuff. Ill update you guys on it.. tentatively however its set to be on either the 9th or 16 of Feburary.

Works been swell as well.. we've been promoted from runners to waiters! Got to meet alot of new friends as well and discover a new market for my graphic design project! Ahhhh the wonders of networking.. im currently on 6 projects right now! Aside from the profit ill make from all this, i think its a great way to build up my portfolio for the Visual Communications course im shooting for in Temasek Polytechnic.

Music wise the band's doing really well. We're set to play at the upcoming church gig and our Iron Maiden covers are nearing perfection! Infact.. we'll be off to jam tomorrow! I think Threshold's gonna do really well. We've got a killer Lead guitarist in Han Wei, Awesome Growls from Han, Unwavering consistency with Drummer Shaun, and Good Lead Guitars from me and Daryn! Haha ( Thick skinned but true. )

Yes it has been wonderful thus far and i thank god for all he's done for me and hopefully life will continue to be this awesome!

First off, i would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!It has been a very eventful and fulfiling year and i wouldnt trade a second of it for any other scenario! I feel i have grown mentally, physically and of course socially. While i still have a wagon load of faults, there is renewed drive in me to self improve!... Which brings me to my new year resolutions..

Year 2007 Resolutions.
- Stop being critical of others
- Stop judging people
- Cut down on the bad words
- Stop ........ (only a select few know what i am talking about.)
- Become less clumsy
- Actually do something meaningful for people in suffering (ie. Ethiopia, Thailand)
- Put more of my words into action
- Rekindle my faith into a firestorm!

Yeap.. my main resolutions for the year 2007 and i hope that by this time in a year's time ill have them all crossed out.
