The Testament

This entry is more of a future reminder and testament to my decision which i have (and i hope for the better good) made just a few minutes ago.

For awhile now i've been limiting myself, throwing hurdles infront of me. I dont know how or why i came to this position, but this i'm sure. I have lost myself in the process. I no longer see myself in the work i do, in my activities or whatever.

I've got to let loose and forget about these events and factors around me that wreck my thoughts and enforce my very evident self doubt at many points in my life.

No more.
Whatever happens, i have decided to block out these doubts and negative concepts from my fickle mind.
Out of the forest, and into the unknowns of the Sahara!

Christian is back.

Baybeats

Baybeats this year was killer.

A Vacant Affair's set was brutal yet totally satisfying. Needless to say they covered their best songs which included The Departure, Crestfallen and Morning!(Hell Yes!) Kids went away with broken limbs, bruises and hospital trips! (No kidding) I got away with a few bruises but that was one hell of a fucking mosh.

The Firefight was great onstage displaying great showmanship; they got the crowd all warmed up and psyched. Firefight bassist gave an inspiring bass solo! Also, The Lovesong(HK) gave a pretty kick ass set too with their unique indie cum disco-esque funk music.

Fav band of the two days however, would have to be TooKoo(China). Wicked show antics (Including guitar swings, awesome showmanship and more), lotsa charisma and just plane cool looks have made them my favourite band of the weekend. Totally did not expect such an amazing brand of music that crosses indie, punk, funk, and good ol rock and roll!

Best part of the whole festival however would be just hanging out and catching up with my awesome buds! Met/saw many familiar faces too. Anton, Fikry, Benedict, Shaiid, Jaryl Etc... good times man.

Next stop, Singfest!
Take care few readers i have!
