Chinese New Year

This CNY, along with many past ones has been a heartfelt and warm season of fellowship and prosperity sharing with my family. In a nut shell, here is what's been going on.

1st/Eve
Started the evening with a scrumptious dinner coufu's house where i had the wonderful opportunity to devour's Por Por's awesome Sweet And Sour Pork. Collected many Hong Paos of course, and enjoyed good fellowhip with the cousins and relatives.

2nd
Entertained visits from Godpa and my dad's friends this morning while enjoying my mom's delicious Noh Hiang and Mee Fen! Real good stuff i tell you! Went to join my cousins for a movie at Vivo. Watched "The Prestige" and it is quite a realistic portrayal of the drug trading industry. I thought the actors were really in character and vividly brought the story to life.(Especially this girl who plays a Heroine Junkie, Awesome.)

Went for dinner at "The Station" at St.james power station with Shan, May and Irvin and had Meat charcoal grill! The meal was really filling and we had good fellowship too.

The Breaking Dawn, Church Gig.

The gig was a major success! Close to 120 people turned up and everything went smoothly! The night kicked off with Bismuth playing awesome indie music, and got intense when Facing Caroline took the stage with their post-hardcore music. The crowd started to open up by then and when For Better Endings came on...mass hysteria!

Second segment began with warren driving the crowd wild (Horns in the air) with his unearthly solos and magnificent guitar skills. Then our band came on! Got the crowd practically moshing to Highway to hell! If only we had our original band members though, then it would have kicked even more ass! However we still held out well and got the crowd moving to tunes like Slither by Velvet Revolver. The night ended with The Hangers playing to a horde of screaming KC girls and zachary's " Time of your life- Greenday" solo. ( Why he did that i cannot comprehend. Has he no shame? )

All in all everything turned out really well. Despite losing support from the Youth Ministry, my family and friends ( especially the con4's! ) came together and helped me get things going! Thank you so much fellas and ill always be there for ya just as you have for me!
